DESCRIPTION
The lightest Atom jacket from Arc'teryx, the perfect choice for changing summer weather with its compact and lightweight design that you can keep with you at all times.
With strategically placed Coreloft insulation at the chest and back, the Atom SL Hoody delivers warmth efficiently and in a lightweight form. The Tyono 20 outer shell delivers the perfect balance between wind resistance and allowing airflow - complete with a DWR finish that repels moisture. Breathability is helped with ventilation in the stretch fleece side panels, while the uninsulated hood gives additional coverage without overheating (and handily stows away with buttons when not needed).

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Originally founded as Rock Solid Manufacturing by David Lane in 1981, In 1990 Lane brought Jeremy Guard, a fellow climber, into the fold and in 1991 they renamed the company Arc’teryx - a nod to the Archaeopteryx lithographica, the first reptile to develop feathers for flight - the first bird - and the brand’s instantly recognisable logo is a depiction of the Berlin specimen of the Archaeopteryx. Their philosophy is guided by the belief that durability is the strongest path to sustainability.
