The lightest Gamma Pant that Arc'teryx make, the Gamma SL hiking trousers use a highly breathable, recycled double-weave fabric that sheds light rain and wind to help you comfortably push through unexpected weather, steep climbs, and hard miles.
With a slimmer fit and articulated patterning that offer a clean look with plenty of space to move naturally — whether on and off the trail. This style have been updated with FC0 material for a lower environmental footprint, an improved buckle system, and design lines that align with the rest of the Gamma Collection.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Originally founded as Rock Solid Manufacturing by David Lane in 1981, In 1990 Lane brought Jeremy Guard, a fellow climber, into the fold and in 1991 they renamed the company Arc’teryx - a nod to the Archaeopteryx lithographica, the first reptile to develop feathers for flight - the first bird - and the brand’s instantly recognisable logo is a depiction of the Berlin specimen of the Archaeopteryx. Their philosophy is guided by the belief that durability is the strongest path to sustainability.
