DESCRIPTION
Durable trekking trousers from Swedish outdoor experts Fjällräven, designed specifically for use in the mountains and forest. Made from their durable wind and water-resistant G-1000 Original fabric with a double layer of material over the rear and knees for added durability.
The Vidda Pro Trousers have a regular waist (mid waist) and regular fit with pre-shaped knees. Six practical pockets including a map pocket and an axe pocket and an elastic strap adjustment with press buttons on leg endings to get a perfect fit. Because these trousers are made of G-1000, in the future they can be rewaxed with Greenland Wax to add water resistance and abrasion resistance - a great, weather-resistant and breathable alternative to synthetic materials.
Please note: This is the updated version of the Vidda Pro Trousers, with an improved fit. If you’ve previously worn the Vidda Pro, you should order a size up. If this is your first pair, please check the Size Guide to find your best fit.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
The story behind Fjällräven began in 1950 when Åke Nordin, a 14-year-old boy from Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden, was about to go for a trek in the mountains. Åke, who spent more time outdoors than indoors, did not like the backpacks that were available at that time. He decided to take matters into his own hands and built a wooden pack frame.
To this day Fjällräven stays true to Åke's vision of offering functional equipment for journeys in the outdoors. Fjällräven develop environmentally friendly fabrics and co-operate with partners to improve the environment and support biodiversity.
