The do-it-all Men's Long-Sleeved Self-Guided Sun Shirt from Patagonia combines intuitive, on-the-trail performance with 40+ UPF sun protection and breezy, all-day comfort. Made of a stretchy, quick-drying 100% recycled polyester fabric that moves athletically, stays cool and looks breezy in any situation.
Comfortable, lightweight and quick-drying - the 100% recycled polyester plain weave provides 40+ UPF sun protection and mechanical stretch for easy movement. Two vertical chest pockets with corrosion-resistant zippers fit fly boxes and two button-closure chest pockets keep essentials close. There's even a hidden tool dock under the right-chest pocket flap.
The double-layer collar converts to a stand-up collar for additional sun protection, and hidden snaps at the collar points eliminate movement in the wind. Open venting across the back and shoulders increases airflow for cooling comfort in steamy weather. Extended hem stays in place while casting, rowing or hiking to enhance comfort and sun protection, and the shirt won't bunch or ride up when worn with hip packs. Integrated, intuitively positioned, easy-access lens cleaner is sewn in at the front hem to ensure clean optics without having to search for your lens cloth

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Patagonia was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, the company's roots are in clothing for rock and alpine climbing, but they now produce a diverse mix of apparel targeted towards skiers, snowboarders, surfers and climbers. Patagonia are a world leader in creating ethical, sustainable clothing.
Recycled Polyester: Polyester is a naturally water-repellent material that can withstand the elements. Using polyester fibre made from mechanically recycled plastic bottles reduces CO2 emissions, and Patagonia are working toward eliminating all virgin polyester in their products by 2025.
Fair Trade: Patagonia now use more than 20 Fair Trade factories that specialise in the production of outdoor clothing, paying a premium for every Patagonia item that is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory. They actively encourage other brands that do business in those factories to join them in the Fair Trade movement, ensuring living wages within the supply chain.
