DESCRIPTION
The processes that Nubuck, suede and rough-out leathers go through to make a boot mean that they no longer have their own naturally occurring protective barrier for water resistance. So to keep water out, you’ll find that you need to use something like this Waterproofing Spray regularly to protect them.
Danner’s Nubuck and Suede Waterproofing Spray won’t cause the material to darken in colour, and is breathable - meaning it can block water from the outside whilst letting moisture and vapour escape from the inside. A nice feature for any boot, but particularly important for any Gore-Tex styles where you want to benefit from that materials breathable properties.
For use on nubuck, suede and rough-out leather. For a boot with a full grain leather (such as Danner’s Mountain Light boots) instead of this spray we’d recommend using their Boot Dressing

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Charles Danner opened the doors of Danner Shoe Mfg. Company in the old logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, with twelve employees to build affordable, handcrafted work boots.
