DESCRIPTION
The women's Houdini jacket is made from 100% recycled nylon, and the sewing is Fair Trade Certified™. This revamped model features the classic woven p-6 logo.
Run, ride, climb - the Houdini Jacket encourages improvisation with its weather-resistant 100% nylon ripstop fabric, blocking wind and withstanding abrasion. The slim fit accommodates a baselayer or a light midlayer; the hood cinches with a single pull and the cording, toggles and cuffs are all trim and lightweight. Half-elastic cuffs seal the wrists, and a drawcord cinches the hem.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Patagonia was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, the company's roots are in clothing for rock and alpine climbing, but they now produce a diverse mix of apparel targeted towards skiers, snowboarders, surfers and climbers. Patagonia are a world leader in creating ethical, sustainable clothing.
Recycled Nylon: Nylon is one of the strongest materials used in clothing and gear. Using recycled nylon, Patagonia decrease their dependence on virgin petroleum as a raw material and reduce discarded fabric.
Made without PFCs / PFAS: For decades, the coatings used in apparel to improve water-repellency have relied on per- or polyfluorinated chemicals, which contain fluorine. This class of forever chemicals accumulates in air, water, food, even our bodies, and they raise serious health concerns. Patagonia re moving away from PFCs, and now 92% of their materials with water-repellent chemistries are made without them - reducing their impact on the health of people and the planet.
Fair Trade: Patagonia now use more than 20 Fair Trade factories that specialise in the production of outdoor clothing, paying a premium for every Patagonia item that is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory. They actively encourage other brands that do business in those factories to join them in the Fair Trade movement, ensuring living wages within the supply chain.
