DESCRIPTION
Manufactured for years in Eugene, Oregon by Jeanette and Bob Williams, and now fulfilled as part of the Field Notes range - the fusion of a bookmark and a paperclip, a Book Dart can be easily slipped into any book to not only neatly mark your page, but also to point to the exact line where you left off. Great for fiction, memoirs, manuals, planners, notebooks - any document or stack of paper you could name.
The FN-45 “Tin-O-Darts” is a seamless 2-1/2" pressed tin containing 30 gleaming stainless-steel Book Darts. They’re paper-thin and unobtrusive, but easy to find. They cling tightly to the page, but are easy to apply and remove without causing damage. They’re strong and reusable, so 30 feels like a lifetime supply.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
“I’m not writing it down to remember it later, I’m writing it down to remember it now.”
Inspired by the vanishing sub-genre of agricultural memo books, ornate pocket ledgers, and the simple, unassuming beauty of a well-crafted grocery list, the Draplin Design Company of Portland and Coudal Partners, a Chicago creative firm, have created Field Notes Brand, a collection of smartly-designed, vintage-styled pocket notebooks, calendars, and various office accoutrements.
From the very beginning, every Field Notes paper product has been manufactured in the U.S.A. From the paper, sourced from some of the finest mills in the Midwest, to even the inks used, the production of Field Notes has never required travel on a cargo ship or plane.
